We may collect your personal contact details when you use this Website or when you attend a Neatr event, or an event sponsored by Neatr. For example, if you sign up to receive promotional materials, thought leadership or communications about services provided by us.

When you register your interest as a Cleaner with Neatr, you agree to receive ongoing communications from Neatr (via email) including business updates, notification of location cleaning jobs and newsletters. All communications will include an option to opt out of receiving communications.

In accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches (“NDB”) scheme of the Privacy Act, we (along with our service providers) are required to notify you of any unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss of personal information.

In these circumstances, we perform an assessment to determine if there has been an ‘eligible data breach’. To do so, we consider if the access or disclosure of personal information is likely to result in serious harm to the individuals affected by the suspected data breach.

If we determine there has been an ‘eligible data breach’, then you will be notified as soon as practicable. We will notify the affected party with the details of the breach and then recommend steps to take to mitigate any concern. As required, we will report an ‘eligible data breach’ to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (‘OAIC’).

We use the personal information that we collect to provide customers or cleaners with agreed services. We have an agreement with each customer or client that governs the provision of our services and sets out the purposes for which we may use any information that is provided to us (including any personal information).
